Mr. Kuhlman was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 27, 1956. He received a Bachelor of Philosophy Degree, cum laude, from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio in 1979, and a law degree from UCLA in 1983. He has practiced law continuously in San Diego since 1984, and is a partner in the law firm of Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch, where he focuses on the representation of clients with construction and real estate projects and disputes. In addition to his association with various professional organizations, Mr. Kuhlman served on his community’s land use planning board for eight years, is a past board member of the Rancho Family YMCA, and currently serves on the board of Community Catalysts of California as Treasurer and Vice-Chair. He and his wife Jennifer have two sons, Travis and Connor, who both attend college.
